GD renewal after expiry question

How many days after your domain expires at GoDaddy, can you still renew at regular price?

Are you still able to transfer out at any time as long as it isn't pending delete?

I just found a GoDaddy link that indicates a registrant has up to 18 days to renew an expired domain at no additional cost.

But their "reminder" emails seem to contradict this, which could be a "ploy" to get you to renew sooner. Personally I've never tested it past 10 days.

Don't know about their transfer policies.

You can renew at regular renewal fees up to 18 days after expiry. You can transfer out up to 42 days after expiry.

Anyone have any problems transferring there domain names after say a week
of them expiring I have a couple of domains that's due to expire 4-21-14

Also will our websites sill be working I don't want to start getting in
visitors & have my sites shut down.

After your domains expire, GoDaddy will point them to a parking page and your websites will no longer work.
