Domain Renewal?

Here I have three questions for Domain Renewal.

-Does the domain renewal process add 1 year (or however many years I choose) to the existing domain registration length, regardless of how much time is left before the domain expires?

-Can I do domain renewal at any time after purchasing the domain?

-If I wanted to buy my domain name from one place, transfer it to another, and renew it there, I would have to wait the first 60 days (if applicable) to do that, right? My specific situation is Register w/ godaddy -> another registrar I want to Renew with.

1) when you renew a domain, you add as many years as you specify (10 years being the maximum)

2) Yes

3) You'd have to wait 60 days from its renewal date, and at Godaddy only, another 60 days from the domain being pushed into your account or ANY data changing in the whois.
