Gabon (.ga) domain name...Anyone?

I am looking to buy a .ga domain name for my company. All the registrars I've spoken to say they are not taking registrations however one of our competitors bought one in 2009.

I assume you must have connections with the Gabon government agency that manages the TLD. Does anyone have experience with this TLD or know someone who might? Maybe a broker who has acquired a .ga?
