Like Jeff I have never heard of "true tones" but appraising this domain name on all other criteria I would say you would be doing well to get your reg fee back. The domain name is long and has three words in it. I am sure to get rebuked over this appraisal but it is just my opinion, please take it with a grain of salt I am sure others will have different ideas.

I personally would not have registered this name becuase it is too long with 3 words but that is just me :)

Again I don't know what true tones are all about but if it is the same as ring tones maybe you got yourself a good one.

Either way all the best and hope you do well out of it!

thanks for the comments...I have never understood why 3 words vs 2 vs 1 is always worse or better...when I surf the net 99 % of the time I'm clicking links and not typing in words...

^ It would be so great so see if these folks here at the .COM would be interested ... in potentially acquiring the .MOBI, IMHO. :lala: :talk:

All the best!

If that is the case you maybe should register longer ones like "FreeRingTonesForYourMobilePhone.mobi" :gn: & while your at it get the .com!!

Personally, I think one word names are great if they cover the market it is intended for. Like cars.com. Of course, that will be about cars. But, most people are going to be a little more specific when they run a search or type in what they are looking for. As in new cars, old cars, used cars, classic cars etc. In that case, I think the 2 word is more valuable to ME depending on what it is I am promoting on my website.

Three words can still be good, if they are extremely relavent to the site and search, as in free true tones. It covers 'free' (hot keyword) and true tones (another keyword). So if I were in the true ringtone market, this would be a great name as it would likely be an exact type in.

Four words or more gets a little tricky.

JMO :)

That .com version really looks like an affiliate site. I wonder what program that is?
