In celebration of the release of IE7 Loopia.se is offering unlimited (that's right!) IDN.se domains until the end of the year.

The site is in Swedish, but once you create an account you can switch the interface to English. In the meanwhile you can use Systranet.com or another translator help you out. Good luck.

BTW, the Swedish language has the standard 26-letter latin alphabet plus three additional letters å, ä, and ö. All of which are available on a standard Swedish keyboard.

As domainstosell said, I think it's important to stress again that only IDN.se are free! ASCII.se are not and neither is hosting. Please be sure to uncheck the hosting option.

And please make sure you know what you are buying. Online translators are available so read each page carefully.

You've ordered 12 months on a windows webserver (790 SEK) plus the setup fee (295 SEK) and one domain name (110 SEK) and then plus 25% tax...

Make sure you follow all steps in thefabfive's "walkthrough" and especially note the ones about changing to "domain only". Also, the domain you're ordering have to be an IDN.

You change your nameservers at the registry:

You have to do a redelegation. First send a request for a single use password. Then start the redelegation.

1. From the main page on your Loopia account "Administrera" - click on the domain you want to change.

2. Click on "Byt namnservrar" (Change Nameservers)

3. Click on "Skicka II-stiftelsen lösenord via e-post" (Send II-stiftelsen password by email). This will send a password to your email on record.

4. Take this password and input it into the "II-stiftelsen lösenord:" field.

5. Then enter your DNS information into the "DNS-servrar" section. Remember to also input the DNS IP. You will get an error if you don't. For example the DNS for Namedrive would be:

DNS 1: ns1.fastpark.net
DNS 1 IP: 206.130.11.197
DNS 2: ns2.fastpark.net
DNS 2 IP: 216.8.177.29
