The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Tried many different registrars from their list and not one said free anywhere. Also, most of the sites don't offer English pages so they're kind of hard to navigate. If anyone has any luck with this, please let us know. :)

That original site isn't supposed to offer free domains. It's just the source of the information.

You can search a list of registarars offering this at at-partner.at.
If you visit the site, you will find this page...

http://www.at-partner.at/index.php/...srp7u4asdjjonsqeievhi42c72&/1/&context=random

There you will see a list of registrar partners. I clicked a couple in the 'random' search and saw promotions going at the registrars, but it was not in English, so I can't verify anything.

Looks like the offer is very limited.

keeps saying that:

*) .at IDN (Umlaut) Domain Promotion: For new registered .at Umlaut Domains the domain name fee for the first year is not billed. The annual domain name fee for the first year will be credited on your invoice.

i ll add a screenshot later, where you input your domain name ? and do you write it with the "xn--" stuff or already with international caracters ?

I am ignoring this registrar .... I dont want to key my credit card and then later after a year they automatically charge from the credit card or whatever.

Really unsafe while registering with annonymous registrars like this.

Given up on this offer now...

I suggest foregoing this ... Its not safe to register FREE domains giving out credit card number ....
