There is one free domain name registration at register.com (i have tested with .com successfuly, but maybe it works with other tld too.)

When you check for name and it is available, you are have an option to accept free offer.

The promo is for small business owners and decision makers , according promotion requirements.

(credit/debit card is required, but there is no charge - based on my experience.)

Maybe this promotion is not suitable for reselling purposes, but i am curious
what is like register.com .

Indeed works just fine with paypal. I read 9/10ths of the small print and unless in the one -tenth I didn't read is some clause about extra fees it appears it is all free.
