Hey guys, haven't been around awhile but I had to post this one. Title says it all folks.

I found this by viewing a commercial at youtube and register.com is offering 100% FREE domain name! (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, or .us) There is no catch except you need a credit card and you can only register 1 per person (or business). I just registered one and it works. Paypal is not accepted, however if your smart, you can get away with using a paypal virtual debit card :).

All I ask for this information is some rep.
http://www.register.com/TV for your free name.
Lemme know how it goes!
Peace!

If I use my credit card, will there be any future charges or anything?
Thanks.

Hey ihatebeans (nice name). No there are no charges but to be insured, I used a virtual credit card via paypal and closed the card to ensure this. WHEN CHECKING OUT MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE PRIVACY!

You'll want to transfer it after a year since the renewal fees are $35. YIKES! Still none the less, it's a free domain and well worth the five minutes of your time.

I just used a crappy gift credit card. With like 50 cents left, and already took off the privacy!

Thanks a lot!

They do. I used an American Express Gift Card, and it worked fine. =) It only has like $1 left on it, so they can't really charge anything on it.

Use a paypal virtual credit card or a visa giftcard and you don't need to worry. Honestly, I wouldn't give my personal credit card number

Back in december I did some Cookie Editing and got about 20 names from this, dont do it. They just took all my names apart from the first one.

well.. according to my experience that they did provide me the free domain name but they charged my card US$1.00 without any authorization where they said they won't charge a single cent. But it's still good but you cannot trust.
