I discovered Flippa's domain appraisal tool a while back. It is a crowd sourced one. I submitted one there but it has been waiting approval for more than 5 days now. Is the tool dead?

Nope. You just need to wait for the next batch where your domain name will be included. Check it out again after 2-3 days.

Does the tool even work? Most of the time I find them pretty useless.

While you review the results of the appraisal, be advised for them "faulty" appraisals (Those people who appraise for credit points) which can mislead you to the wrong average - try to judge whether the appraisal was written with a whole heart or someone just throw a number in the air and presented to you as "his appraisal".

Good luck!

The tool isn't dead. Will be curious to see how the new updates work! I've ran a few domains for appraisals but they don't usually get very many. I think part of that is because there are so many names listed in there.
