Flippa account banned - How do I contact Flippa?

So my girlfriend's account got suspended for having links to other accounts. She opened a ticket and explained she didn't know how this could have happened. Last week she even started getting emails from other users who also got suspended for links to her account, so she told them to also just open a ticket and wait. What else are you gonna do.

In the ticket, support asked her what those "links to other accounts" could be and she told the rep she also doesn't know. Without further explanation though, the ticket got marked as closed and something along the lines of "we're not going to reinstate your account right now"

This morning she got an email that the account isn't just suspended, it's now banned. This entire algorithm seems to be automated and we have yet to hear from an actual support rep. Since a large chunk of her main income comes from sales on Flippa, this is kind of a big deal to us.

Is there any way to talk to a human over at Flippa who can actually look into her situation instead of just algorithms? This sucks big time and I was hoping the community here might know where to go with this.

Thanks!

Mine got suspended because I paid for a name I won and they said I was a security risk lol. Your system sucks, I own many names never had a problem before with any platform except yours.

I responded to the dispute and no one cared or responded. Bad service, will not bother using anymore.

wow sad to hear that.

On the contrary I had a quite pleasant interaction with their @FlippaDomains support just a week ago.

Had an account since 5 years or longer (don't know, never used it) ..

now wanted to list a few domains..

but saw that my personal email = username
so ma email publicly visible for everyone.

Don't know why this is case, cause choosing a username being my email is and was just nothing I would ever do online.

I just emailed some general support addy I found.

Meanwhile I figured out from websearch that they may not allow you to change username ever!

.. few days later (maybe it was a week or even longer) I got a friendly email stating that they changed username to the provided username I asked for.

Overall nice experience with support.

Hope you get your case to human eyes and keyboards :)

Good luck!

I contacted them right away after opening a new account this week and realizing I had previously opened one over 5 years ago when I tried to input my phone number and it said I already had an account. What did they do? They banned both accounts.

The support person Josh @FlippaDomains would not let me speak to his manager and it honestly seemed as if he didn't even read my initial emails about the issue. He said I had previously banned accounts (which I never did) and when I asked him to prove it to me he could not. He was making up false information to try to make himself feel better I guess? I just contacted the BBB trying to get this resolved by someone with a brain there.

This has been an absolutely awful experience for someone trying to get into domaining.

Thanks Dream Big - it's certainly not the start I was looking for. I wanted to build up solid feedback for my flippa account and use it as my main platform. I'll just stick to godaddy auctions mainly I suppose.

I recently had a big auction at Flippa (128 domain portfolio) .. there were a few issues that came up.

I honestly think the problem there is that they are very short staff and so spread way too thin.

Responses seemed to come in waves. Each responses starts with "Thanks for following up" or something similar .. after a while despite the fact it's likely very genuine, it just feels canned.

Also it's really frustrating that they often also reply with ".. we've contacted our ___ team" .. so you're usually not even talking to the right person .. and you're left hanging not knowing if it's even something the end support person will even understand.

I don't think it's a question of having the wrong people .. I think they just desperately need more staff/help.

I paid them to list some domains and i got banned. I approach them about my issue saying that I want to provide all the info they may want to ask, and then they face me like a criminal. Then, I don't give nothing to this company. Awful experience for a domainer. About my credibility, just take a look to my feedback section.

Ps: As you can imagine I ve never got refund :)

Please contact [email protected] with complete information over your issue -- I'm sure they will rectify it.
