At Sedo now. It's not mine (but wish it was :).

I like how the owner clearly states that it's a $1k premium. Good luck to the seller! Fantastic name!

Wow. Gaining ground. .tv should be some weekly charts this week.

Maybe domainers are finally opening there eyes and realizing the potential.

As Rick said. Follow the money. His view on mobi and he seems to like .tv in this interview but hasn't done anything. That's my impression.

Wish it was my name lol. I need a cruise next year and a break.

skg,

i am surprised you say that, given you know its my name and half ATL.

i recently uploaded all my preimiums for sale, got very little interest from forum members, but did get two offers straight from sedo, one of which we negotiated up to 9k, worth much more, so pushed to auction with his final(we shall see) offer. received anothr offer on another name - Thailand.TV, same day for 7k, was not interested in that figure - and so did not push to auction.

When we sold DE.TV for 21,500 to JohnTV, we had a specal deal in place, whereby if we dids not push to auction, we were to get paid slightly more, taking away the oppurtunity to john having to be in a bidding war.

But, John may well have said - go throw into auctiion, we would have received one offer of close to 21,500 and probably would have been the onlly bid, given johntvs interest in DE.TV. and heavy premium (relative ofcourse)........At that time, the sale was the largest tv sale to date listed in DN JOURNAL..........

So I would ask that you take those comments back.......It is imo worth at least k40 at todays market value. However, personal circumstances dictate what and where to push to auction....

If that turns out to be the final bid and the buyer comes through, then that person has the deal of the century.

Someone else PMd me wishing they could put in a biid for VID.TV- they think its worth x,xxxx which is what i am loking fir for that name - all i wouls say is that there are people outsde of NP who are willing to pay decent money for a quality gem of a name, certainly worth more than 7k for NUTSTV.COM........

Unless looking FIXED to you was just you having a play on words, every deal i have made on names has come through.....

My usage of "fixed" is a play on words. I have had it happen many times to me where an offer comes in high only to be a fraud. Good luck in your auction.

You might want to change your wording of "but did get two offers straight from sedo, one of which we negotiated up to 9k, worth much more" because at Sedo every counter is charged as a bid on the bid count so if you negotiated upto 9K and then released into auction then your bid count should be higher than 1, which it is right now.

Correct, thanks Sanch, actually two seperate bids...one for Thailand one for Fix is what I meant. First bid for Fix was for 150 bucks, ,after my 1111111111 counter offer, buyer cancelled negotiations, then a second bid which we feel was and is the same guy came in at 9k.
The 7k offer Thailand has not been responded to.

But your main focus is correct, if all the offers i have receiived through Sedo came through, I would be at least k50 richer.

Sedo does everything to collect and nothing to secure. 10% security from buyer offer would go a long way to help......

Here is what I understand from what you posted on Fix.tv:

Buyer bids 150 USD so this makes 1 bid

Seller counters 1111111111 so this on sedo system equals 1 bid

Buyer cancels negotiations, systems should show 2 bids under the domain

New or Old Buyer comes in at 9,000 USD, sedo system now should be showing 3 bids

You push into auction and accept the 9,000 USD as reserve.

Problem is the auctions shows 1 bid and not 3 by what you said. 1 bid means that the initial offer is 9K and you pushed into auction without ever countering.

Understand my confusion.

In my experience, and I stress my experience, Sedo does not always count/register/show all counter offers.

I don't think that sellers counter offers are counted as bids, at least they haven't been in my experience.

I have had one name that has had 3 bids by a seller and 3 counter offers by me, Sedo shows the name as having had 3 bids.

I think SKG is saying that the auction should show a minimum of two bids since the first negotiation was cancelled. The $9000 offer should be counted as the second bid.

Perhaps a glitch in Sedo's system?

Sanch,

I see your point, but my experiance as just a I put it, for IT TV, I have had about 120 cancellations, mostly from me to bum offers, but sometimes from the bums when they receive the 111111111 corresponding reply from me. Yet the number of bids is nothing close to that.

Why not hold your horses and lets see this out for the remaining week before conspiracy theories need jump in........You never know, you may even decide to put in a bid yourself.......

Unless perhaps it is a new bidde completely??
