Got a $3000 opening offer today through Namedrive for FIX.TV.

Nice, but a couple of zeros too short!!

I know that a few NP'r are also getting offers starting to come through and fast!!......

Dont you just love it when someone on another unholy forum - says FIX.TV - $100 tops - doesnt fit the extention!!

Anyone with a good name who sells now at a semi decent profit for a strong generic .TV is a sucker.....all the risk has already been taken - bids will only get higher over the next 18 months and then who knows where .TV will be.....

I will be waiting for the semi to remove itself from the decent and only accept a VERY decent offer.......

Now is NOT the time to be selling........unless you really hit payday..

On the one hand I want to ride the wave with all my .tv names that we should see in the next 12-18 months, on the other hand it would be good to recap some of the investmen dollars I already put in to my portfolio.

I hear you ST......but for $3000 someone would need to move way down my signature list to even make me think about a counteroffer!!!

Not arrogance - just my take on where we are going with .TV......SO for all my names, I have a minimum two, some three years paid upfront........plenty of time for Enom to start earning their management fee and marketing .TV .......(which in my opinion they are not or shouldnt be earning yet...sorry couldnt resist!) and making the .TV ext unique...........


Want to add a point here......having .com and all other extentions was like having radio before tv......loads of info, .......and thats it

.TV welcomes in the second era of the web - info + content + freedom to watch what you want + when you want + where you want + participation + invitation.......+++++++++++++

Can this be done with .Com - yes......are any names available?? No......

Will .TV become synonamous with channels/video content ..? yes...Will they then be the first ext to be checked for available content over .com - YES....for those in the know - its already the case, for Asia, the next two years, for the rest of the planet, the next five years....

I predict that all .Tv's will lose their DOT when referenced in commercials and in discussion amongst friends etc...something .Com will never do -

Example - on an actual TV commercial you will never hear an ad for.....an example go to hollywoodcom it will stay until eternity as hollywood.com - the power of Dot.TV is that in a few years time the DOT will become an irrelevance......TV and INTERNET will have MORPHED into ONE. HALLELLUYA!!! :bingo:

.TV has been a sleeping giant. Incidentally, just went through my Sunday paper and Sprint/Motorola have a big ad showcasing mobile phones that play live TV. Awesome. dotTV is about to get some national exposure.
