I've just checked the namebio recent .TV sales and I see that fix.tv sold yesterday on SEDO for $9,000! I'm not sure how much a renewal is for this one, but it's a nice sale I think. Good news for .TV. :)

Also, Wien.TV (Vienna in German) sold for $9,522 a month ago.

Fix.tv has a renewal of $1k according to Ahead.tv.
$9,000 is not a bad price for Fix.tv in my view but long term i think somebody had got themselves a great investment.

I think it has a couple of bids but there was a glitch in Sedo's system where only one bid was reported.

sedo is full of glitches these days,
if it had more than one bid it would benefitial for tv domain in general

The sale is not concluded yet as fix.tv is still in Millers (James) name, the sale was just closed like two days ago at Sedo auction, so it probably will take another week or so for the sale to finalise (if hopefully the buyer will not back out).

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've the feeling that namebio reports sales when they close at the Sedo auction instead of when the sale is fully closed.

John.com is also mentioned as a sale there, while I know it never sold for $21,500, this price was the last bid on Sedo auction, before it disappeared two days before the auction was suppose to end.

Did Fix.tv go for the full Auction period on Sedo or was it terminated before the auction was suppose to end?

I have so far not received any money or messsages from buyer....I just wish no one had ever gone and mentioned this whole deal...i certainly never brought it up, it was mewntioned and i still didnt say anything.....

I COULD talk here and open a whole can of worms about the hypocricy some people are accusing me of tryting to fish people in on something when i have from different people in writing names they wanted me to bid on to get an auction started......including the most vocal of the "how can yous" and

Although nothing on the level of FIX.TV....

If the buyer does not pay, I do not care really, much as i need money for medical conditions, i know this name is worth 80k

Speak soon alittle more

Sorry to hear this. Perhaps you can ask SEDO to confirm whether the buyer is an existing customer (domainer) that uses their parking service so SEDO can put some pressure on him.

Wow. Where did that come from Millers??? Just that fact that you're talking about fixing auctions is unbelievable. It would never even cross my mind. The folks here were just mentioning bugs with Sedo.

You seem bitter and angry. I hope that sale works out for you but you need to chill out alittle or your hard-earned reputation will quickly disappear on this board...

I am indeed waiting for confirmation Kevin......and me attacking you so aggressively in public was not a nice thing to do......but I would really have appreciated you giving me a call than jumping to conclusions and airing them on the forum......

Especially since I give you higher standards than alot of the pretenders out there.

If something stinks, there is always a reason why, but not always is it the owners...and if I try and not openly say the exact way the deal begun, with a few odds and ends thrown in for good measure - it is because one would think one does not want an entire forum to know how you did or did not negotiate a deal, how much money I want or need, or how much i have to concede because of partnership in the name.

I did not cheat or attempt it, I have no idea what a glitch really means and I will not use that to grab onto to say "wasnt me".........I will just say the name was for sale and I had an offer on it......

Either people will accept what I say or not...........

As to the rest of the forum, if it does not sell, do not worry guys/gals.....from what I am hearing on the vine, so much is happening, .tv is here to stay, you and me will get our investment back , but we are going through a cycle, every business has one no matter what you are involved in...

Right now the market is soft, but it is snowing outside, go look at the .tv sightings thread, a new site every day, Vogue now has one up...fashion is huge a a trendsetter..

I predict bigger sales for 08, but much more importantly, heavy investment in development....small companies and the big companies already have their .coms.........they must now enter this new era ready all guns blazing.......

DC MIKE,

Thankyou for your concerns, but you missed the picture then from the very beginning then...

As to my reputation, you can decide for yourself whenever you like what you like ...I am not bitter or angry actually right now.....I am doing something I should have done two months back.......concentrate on my health and nothing else..........

I think it went for the full auction period. However, it looks like the "buyer" was another deadbeat bidder.

pgarret, that is a VERY serious accusation. Do you have any proof you can provide of that?

If not, you are making a pretty bold statement for a new person here.

Thanks Mr p Garrett,

Obviously you would never make such accusations without firm proof, cause you are a stand up guy....right??

Oh wait a minute, let us have a look at your contributions to date to take a measure of your credibility and reputation......

http://www.namepros.com/dot-tv/408106-british-tv-on-sedo.html

in which one of the few times i have seen the moderator of this forum state about the way you do business - " No it is called misleading a prospect which in most businesses is against the law"

So please, slither back to whichever hole you have come out of.......

To the rest of the forum, I will provide confirmation of the bid as soon as I get it in writing from either SEDO or the bidder...shouldnt be too long now. Thank you
