I would reccomend this to anyone who spends their entire life online like me, lol. It covers:

• Clean out and categorize your bookmarks.
• Delete programs you don’t use.
• Unplug your PC, take the cover off and clean out the dust.
• Write your next blog post.
• Run any maintenance programs you don’t have auto-scheduled.

Psht, when I'm without an internet connection (such as Saturday, when the power went out for 5 hours), I catch up on my sleep! Not very productive, I suppose...but it sure feels good!

hmm going to need to keep this list somewhere I usually only get as far as twiddling my thumbs and looking around.

I am completely lost when I have no internet connection. Thankfully it does not happen often (had 1 day in the last 2 years or so and that was last week, think it had something to do with the floods down in England but not sure).

i went crazy went i lost the net for 2 weeks. i think i finished sin city like 4times :lol:

I have Sim City 4 for this exact purpose... when my internet goes out in my apartment I play it until it comes back on. I also reorganize my music and documents and get rid of stuff I don't need - one time when the net went down I was able to free up 20 gigs out of sheer boredom.

I lost internet for half an hour or so yesterday and planned out my short and long term goals. Lifehack.org has some wonderful articles (thats where I found the link to this list)

I venture outside sometimes when we lose internet. I've been slowly building up tolerance to sunlight over the past couple of years and have achieved 30 conesecutive minutes so far.
