The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. The first wave of completed sales from the recent Moniker.com/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction in New York just rolled in and the top sale on that list ranks as the 2nd biggest sale reported so far in 2007 at close to $2 million. Afternic.com/BuyDomains.com had the biggest non-auction sale with a blockbuster domain that commanded $500,000 (the 7th highest sale reported year to date). Sedo.com also managed to break through the Moniker/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. stranglehold on the top positions with a $150,000 sale.

Among the Global Contenders there was a tie for the top spot with a .net and a .org battling to a $75,000 draw and tying for the 4th biggest sale in that category on our Year to Date list.

This was .US week on the Country Code chart with America's ccTLD sweeping the top three spots and 6 of 14 entries overall. One buyer got a terrific buy in acquiring SanFrancisco.US. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

By the way, to all of our friends and fellow countrymen in the U.S.A. - Have a Happy Independence Day July 4th!

Nice to see gasprices.us at $6k. I recently picked up a similar one:

Wow... just give me one of those great names and I would retire to the south seas I think. LOL.... just kidding. That's great to see some of these names going for prices like that. Also adoptable... all you need is one of those names and you can afford the gas prices as well.

Hi all,

I'm interested in possibly looking at a list of premier domain names that were not sold, due to reserve amount not being met. Is there such a list anywhere on the net? Thanks.

Thanks much.

I had a chance to look at the domains that did not sell. I have to say that the bidding looks very odd. So many $4.5 million bids on $5 million+ reserved domains. Downright weird.

:hi:

Thanks for the report, as always! :tu:
Regarding the two .MOBI's at Traffic ... will there be an update next week of Mortgages.mobi and Laptops.mobi? I'm curious as to whether they were both purchased by the same individual (domainer), and/or if there are development plans in the immediate future IMHO. :gl:

Appreciates.
-Jeff B-)

PS. Have you heard anything as yet on the Roulette.mobi and B2B.mobi sales, as well? :talk:
