Expired don't show up for new register

Hello,

I am just wondering why expired domains don't show up for new register? I have expired domain but didn't renew them, but I want to get them back and try to register them again, it said it is unavailable.

you can check the domain Registrar Status from whois

http://whois.domaintools.com

if your domain was expired within 25 days, You may still be able to renew the domain from your registrar account.
