question Expired Domain Name Transfer

Hello!

I want to transfer out ( from Godaddy to another registrar) some .com domains I have recently received in my Godaddy account. They were pushed to my GD account from another GD account. At that time I updated the contact information, so they are under the 60 day transfer lock. These domains will expire in around 15-20 days. I have a few questions:

1 - Will I be able to transfer out these domains AFTER their expiration date?

2 - If it's possible to transfer out domains after their expiration date, will there be any costs from GD's side for this operation?

3 - How much time after expiration, do I have to transfer them out to a new registrar?

4 - If this is possible, how do I do it?

Yes, You can transfer out if you have passed 60 days after the contact change.
But if the domain expire soon and you dont want to keep the domain @ Godaddy, better ask for auth code from seller and transfer as early as possible to avoid losses.

You have 42 days from date of expiry to transfer out of Godaddy. Make sure you have the whoi contacts updated to receive auth code and transfer approval emails. Godaddy will not change anything for the transfer out. If I were you I will not wait 42 days & try to make the transfer about week before that.

Process is simple. Get auth code. Submit transfer from acquring registrar. Approve the emails if any.
Accept the transfer request from Godaddy (Transfer Out menu).

Thanks for the input!!
As you may know, the transfer codes are not available (on site), for domains under the 60 day lock. I have asked the previous owner of the domains should he have kept any records of those codes. But if he hasn't the codes, do you know if GD support will provide these codes? Will there be any cost/fee on GD's side, for "activating" the domains for a transfer out, after their expiration date?
