Exact Matches How Many?

Please forgive my newbness. Im just finding the domain exact match search tools. Yeah...a bit late since I've bought 60 names prior to finding that tool. Would someone help me understand what is considered to be a decent number of exact matches within a month for a search term? Knowing is beyond neccesary!

Totally misread the question. I usually shoot for at least 1,000 exacts but exact searches are not the only factor I consider.

Sorry if it was confusing but you hit the nail on the head. 1000 exact matches sounds good. Domain ext. is a factor im sure. Which other factors are important to you?
