Hello,
I would like some clarification on a topic that has me frustrated. I apologize in advance if this is a question that some of you have taken the time to answer in a previous posting. But to those that take the time to answer this question this time around, I truly appreciate it.
I often review posings within the threads of NP's regarding "exact google search is xxx", "Average CPC is xxx", "High competition", etc.
I assume that the ideal domaining situation would be to identify a highly searched exact keyword or phrase, high CPC return, and low competition. Of course I understand that those type of domains are extremely difficult to find these days. However, what is a decent expectation?
Example 1: Is a five-word phrase, with $1.72 average CPC, with average competition, and 12,000 monthly exact searches that is available in the .com extension worth looking at?
Example 2: Is a three-word phrase, with $4.72 average CPC, with high search competition, and 260 monthly exact searches that is available in the .com extension worth looking at? I would tend to think that initially an experienced domainer would see the low exact monthly searches and say no. But, looking at the $4.72 average CPC, I have the following thought. If only 10 of the 260 average landed on a site like this and happened to click an add and say the CPC payout is $3 per click an assumption could be made that that particular domain would gross an average of $30 a month? A domainer that has "X" sites like this could earn some good passive income.
So if someone could answer the following for me:
What is a decent "exact monthly search" that would catch your eye? I realize the hight the number, the better. But, using my example above (12,000 exact). Is this considered decent.
What is a decent situation? High exact search, Low Competition, High CPC?
There are so many variables. I hope my thread does not confuse anyone and that someone in here knows what I am trying to ask. But any input to relieve my frustration is appreciated.
Thanks,
Spearseven
