ETH.com has just sold by broker @Sharjil Saleem under NDA. This was just announced in GB.

I'm not sure if this has gone to The Cryptocurrency Ethereum which their current market Cao is now at $30.7B catching up to Bitcoin $44.3B

Congratulations to Sharjil Saleem on the sale as I'm sure it would have closed around 7 figures.

I had read somewhere that Ethereum.com had $5M offer before ETH.com was for sale.

What do you think ETH.com sold for and who bought it?

Wouldn't that depend on what trademarks ETH Zurich has it under? I presume eth.com will be doing a different sort of business entirely.

Those "domains" only exist on the Tor network and there is no UDRP process. On the other hand, .com is regulated.

Whoever spends hard cash on ETH.com better be ready for the Swiss to swoop in.

It barely matters when the clock starts over with a new ownership for the domain. It's important to research a domain's UDRP history before committing to a large purchase.

I'm pretty sure BTC and ETH prices right now are bubbles waiting to pop. Real BTC base price is around $600 and ETH is around $50 in my opinion. Give it 2-3 months and price will only go down.

Congrats to the seller. Awesome sale.

bubbles historically collapse around 75 to 90% from their peaks, so that is a fair target.

Everyone says new tld's suck and many domainers are dropping them so why are .eth the "cats meow"?

Just an FYI... .eth domains are selling for huge numbers. I'm talking hundreds of thousands and the domain community hasn't a clue.
