ETH.com has just sold by broker @Sharjil Saleem under NDA. This was just announced in GB.

I'm not sure if this has gone to The Cryptocurrency Ethereum which their current market Cao is now at $30.7B catching up to Bitcoin $44.3B

Congratulations to Sharjil Saleem on the sale as I'm sure it would have closed around 7 figures.

I had read somewhere that Ethereum.com had $5M offer before ETH.com was for sale.

What do you think ETH.com sold for and who bought it?

That would be a huge sale/buy for both ends of that equation. Congrats it's a great domain.

Just an FYI... .eth domains are selling for huge numbers. I'm talking hundreds of thousands and the domain community hasn't a clue.

I've never seen anything like it in the history of investments. Ethereum was only $8 per coin in January and now $331.

I believe we will see a lot of new younger millionaires from The Cryptocurrency market and will also hear about huge losses of those investing at the wrong time or certain crypto companies going under.

I've invested into a few cryptocurrency domains over the past few years but wow Bitcoin & Ethereum coins have been better investments at the right time within a year than any domain value within that period.

A few of these cryptocurrencies have been high risk & highly rewarding.

Yah Don't say????:xf.wink: do tell?:sneaky:(y):glasses:

Why don't we know? Nda?

That's annoying. Some disclosure would be nice for the entire community. Why NDA?

To prevent everybody and their uncle buying them all up?

Just eth or is Ethereum along for the ride?

Is this the .eth that points to ethereum account addresses or another extension like .net, .org?
(I'm a noob on cryptos FWIW)

I trade bit/usd in a day trading practice account and bit coin went on fantastic surge a couple of weeks ago and doubled it's value

But ethereum is a bit of a mouthful with the potential to misspell it so if ethereum did buy eth. Com it will effectively pay for itself as it would now attract much more buyers of it as it is now much much easier to pronounce and almost trendy etc

There are a couple of others

Eg

Nem

Dash

Lightcoin

Ripple

Which if these lesser known ones become as successful as bit coin and eth

Happy days lol as they will also be day tradable eg eth/usd etc etc

That's the risk in crypto market. You can make a lot and loose a lot. It's important to be patient for the long haul.

How awesome would it have been to have made $1M from $380 when that crash happened.

I have a feeling there are large corporations (banks) that have a lot of The Cryptocurrency and will try to undermine the and disrupt the market from time to time. It only my speculation guess.

I however love The Cryptocurrency market and most importantly how the blockchain works (y)

I'm pretty sure BTC and ETH prices right now are bubbles waiting to pop. Real BTC base price is around $600 and ETH is around $50 in my opinion. Give it 2-3 months and price will only go down.

Congrats to the seller. Awesome sale.

Care to share how is the calculation of that real base price?

Care to share how is the calculation of that real base price?

A combination of things based on my speculation of many similar events. Around 25% of the highest point reached during the pump is probably the true base price. After the highest point is reach, price will continue to fall to this level which could take up to a year.

So if you're thinking you've missed the boat to get in, yes you missed this opportunity but you just need to wait for the dump to complete, then accumulate as much as you can risk and wait 2 years for the next pump and sell at the peak which around 7-10 times the base price.

Just my opinion.

I thought I heard his name before, then I remember the thread below:

https://www.namepros.com/blog/exclu...million-dollar-domain-investment-fund.912489/

And the editor`s note on him: (The credibility of Sharjil Saleem continues to be called into question, and extreme caution is recommended.)

I don`t know why exactly the editor noted about this guys credibility, and I don`t claim that he is a spammer but once I saw this thread and his name I remember an old post which I posted above.
