I recently noticed that when you ask Estibot to prepare you a CSV file with your domains, the file also contains a wholesale value along with the normal retail Estibot value.
Does anybody know how is this wholesale value calculated? It is not a fixed percentage of the retail value and it can range from 0 to almost 50% of the retail value.
Some examples below:
webcams(dot)expert Retail 1100 Wholesale 0
medicalbillshelp(dot)com Retail 1100 Wholesale 67
cheapestautoinsurance(dot)co(dot)uk Retail 1700 Wholesale 455
mesothelioma(dot)support Retail 8500 Wholesale 4461
office(dot)vegas Retail 9300 Wholesale 0
I am new to domain flipping but in the industry I come from the independent valuation companies have a very clear and published methodology. Also is the wholesale valuation supposed to be a hidden value as from what I have seen so far it can only be retrieved from the CSV file.
Cheers!
