Do any of you use Esitbot to get an idea on domain values and do you think that there appraisals are correct?

Just curious to know having never used the service before and want to know what you think of it.

Their appraisals are not correct. Estibot can be great for finding some details such as keyword strength, average bid on a keyword, traffic, and some other stuff. But do not trust their appraisal

Estibot has good tools to use. No single source will give you "the appraisal amount" for your domain. Your domain is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

i use estibot too as well as other free appraisal sites but I don't rely on the appraisals given. ...I mainly use estibot to check other details like search volume. As stated by Rhenderson a domain's true value is determined by how much one is willing to pay for it....

I use estibot for the data it gives but only in the context of add'l research and thought.......the dollar appraisal figures should not be relied on as an indicator of worth.

When you think about it, it's practically impossible to accurately appraise a domain name. It's value really is whatever someone will pay for it. Not even a sale is an accurate appraisal. That said, as far as appraisals go, Estibot is probably one of the most accurate. It uses good data to form a valuation. A combination of metrics weighted against past/current sales. That's about as accurate as it could ever be. I wouldn't waste my money on any of the paid live-person appraisal services, unless you need it for a potential buyer who likes the PDF report you usually get to justify the purchase.

It all has to do with logic. Human logic..If you get an appraisal for Lickthisrock.com for$15,000 it's possible it is not worth that much in the real world.
