I am not a big fan of automated appraisals.
Sometimes, if I do need an appraisal for some of my domains, I check similar domain sales on Namebio or consult some expert for a rough estimate.

Here is a quick example of how appraisals may differ:

If you use Namejet you’ve noticed they’ve added the Estibot valuations to the domain auction page. I happened to do a quick double check and found that the value that Namejet is listing for a domain per Estibot is different then the value listed on Estibot with the value on Namejet being almost DOUBLE.

This has been asked dozens of times. IMO, Estibot has a place in the market, but it's far from the definitive source. I do find it useful for relative values and for valuing keyword domains relative to each other.

So Many times Domain names sold for more than Appraisal Price and so many times Domain names sold for less than Appraisal Price especially by Estibot.

Music.io (Estibot Appraisal Price is $4100 but sold for $20,000 recently on Flippa)

Tehy.com (Estibot Appraisal Value is $13000 but sold for $450 recently on Flippa)

It is just tool which can guide us but end price depends on so many variables like EndUser, Emotional Bid, Just like that name, more meaningful for someone etc.

I'm only use Estibot for search volumes.
In 2-3 weeks ago, I see a domain in NameJet (intrest.com - typo of interest) valuate at $120k, now only $10k+ :D

Estibot 2 months ago: $315,000 ( https://flippa.com/5748129-top-rare-domain-315-000-estimation-by-estibot-com , sold at $2,600 )
Now: $2,800+ ( => Estibot valuate based on history sale)

Po-rn.com and Por-n.com, same pattern & estimated value as above ($315k 2 month ago)
Now: under $1k.
