Hi, all!

I read on another thread here that the value of a .MOBI name should be roughly 1%-2% of the appraisal value that EstiBot gives for its respective .COM.

Of course, this isn't a precise science, but what would you guess the % figures should be for some of the other TLDs? I'm particularly interested in:

.NET
.US
.INFO
.CA

Hi there :) I believe you were browsing through my dotmobi thread. The standard rate on .nets is 10% of .coms, although some have been seeing prices in the ~15% range lately. As for .info, my personal experience with them has been that they tend to sell for 1/3 of what .nets sell for at best (or about 3% of what an equivalent .com would fetch). For .ca, the market is not liquid whatsoever. There are very huge price fluctuations with some names fetching prices higher than equivalent .infos, however, that is not the case for most. I'd recommend sticking to LL and LLL.ca for the Canadian market. I don't reside in the USA and hence can't purchase any .us names...
So I'm afraid I'll have to let someone else shed some light on those bad boys :D

Keep in mind that Estibot is a research tool that should be used intelligently with other such tools (Namebio, DN Journal, common sense, gut instinct, market research, etc). There are many good threads around here to be read if you'd like to learn more about any of those criteria.

Can anyone comment on .US?

More input on .CA would be awesome. What would the general rule of thumb be? 1% of .COM? Outside of LL.ca and LLL.ca, might short dictionary words with high OVT & lots of AdSense competition pull in as much as 3%?
