Hi, I am processing a 5,000 + order for a domain that I sold on Escrow.com. Buyer is Taiwanese. The the buyer on Escrow was approved by Escrow with email [email protected]. Buyer sent me an email asking me to push domain to email [email protected]. As usual I will copy escrow on the emails but, is this normal to push to a different email than Escrow approved?

Is it safe?

Congrats on your sale!

it append to me almost all the time.

There's nothing to worry about. Just make sure his other whois information match escrow.com. Like company name name address or phone number.

Normally in such situations; i sent mail to escrow support to make record of buyer asking to transfer domain to different email to avoid any confusion later.

I would go one step further than DNBro. I would ask escrow.com's permission to push it to an email address they don't have on file. Before even that. I would say to the buyer, that this is not the email address you gave to escrow.com. I have encountered this situation several times. Although it has always worked out ok for me in the ends. You can get into several heart-pumping moments along the way. I always nowadays take my advice from escrow.com, and do as they say. It's easier on the heart, that way.

Thanks all. Our manager contacted Escrow who was familiar with the client and gave the all-clear.
