Equipment Hire is actual commonly used. Perhaps not in U.S. but in places like AU, NZ, UK and even here in South Africa.
Search Engine | Congnitive Model % of sales | |
Hire Equipment | 20 | VERB-NOUN, 2.8% |
Equipment hire | 90 | NOUN-VERB, 1.3% |
Looked at the search engine and their is certainly a preference for the noun-verb version as opposed to verb-noun
Prefference = 95% ???
Prefference = The domain has NO value ???
Interesting perspective that...
“An investment operation is one which, upon thorough analysis, promises safety
of principal and an adequate return.”
It's not natural; we say hire equipment 95% of the time
Several reasons
However, you can still hold it. After all, their is always an exception to every rule.
- It's not natural; we say hire equipment 95% of the time
- As a result it is the wrong cognitive algorithm. Equipment is a noun and hire is an adjective (its a verb).
- So you have Noun, Adjective but it should be Ajective Noun
- Red Car not Car Red
- Strong man not man strong
- Hire Equipment not equipment hire.
