I read one case where a company knew a domain name was available and did not register it. 3 years later someone else registered the name. If I recall though, that domain was being used for something different and not to cybersquat or capitalize on the trademark.
Since the guy on FB is clearly using someone else's trademark brand to sell their domain, that's 100% bad faith.
If you've ever been to Switzerland, you'd know it's pretty darn EPIC! Photos and videos on the internet that blow your mind just don't do it justice. So if someone was a fanboy like myself, maybe I could get away with owning a domain like that if it was mostly pictures of me visiting the H.R. Giger Museum and the bar across the street that looks like the spaceship from Alien (that Facehugger shot!). And proclaiming my undying love for raclette.
Aside from that company called epic, there's always other trademark dangers too. In banking, epicsuisse might be too similar to Credit Suisse.
Personally I would avoid and will continue looking for an appropriate Swiss related domain name to post my photos from last year's visit.
P.S. For real, raclette > fondue
