Hello:

I logged into enom and noticed that they had a new agreement I had to agree upon before proceeding. One of the clause is:

"If you contact us alleging that a third party has unauthorized access to your Account or domain names, we may charge you administrative fees, currently set at $50 (US dollars) per hour, for our time spent in relation to the matter, regardless of whether or not we return control over the Account and/or domain name(s) to you. You will indemnify us for any reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs we may incur in relation to the matter, even if those fees and costs accrue as a result of defending an action, or responding to a threat of an action, initiated by You or a third party."

Does other registrars have such kind of fees?

Interesting. Although to be honest if you've lost control of your domain through your own fault, $50 per hour seems like a reasonable charge.

I don't know if other registrars explicitly list these types of fees, but they probably don't go through things like this as often. enom is one of the big guys...

Agree about that, but this part of the clause has me worried:

Does it mean a third party initiating a claim can lead you to pay?
