Just another inspiration for all of us.

By Brett M.
I have been trying to sell many of my premium names of lately just in case things went south for me and I have had some great response.. England.tv is now sold for $50,000 (I paid for the second renewal). I sold this to a friend of a friend who is also an expat in Thailand and he has also the use of my designers / team for 1 year in the deal.. It is a complicated deal, but a great one for both of us.

Wow
Brett done well.

I worried that this name would never sell for this type of figure as the renewal is rather high but obviously with a decent plan then the renewal is not a hurdle that a developer cannot get over.
Congrats to Brett

only $5000.00 per year,

less than what any single retail shop anywhere in England is paying.

Congrats on the sale Brett ... all the best to your health.

Ronnie,
You could do very well with the $250/Yr Scotland.TV.

Only cheap if TV ever takes off ... I think it was close to present market price.

Nice sale Brett, congrats!!

Keeping in mind the $5k renewal, it's a really good deal with a nice profit, wish I had friends of friends like that :)

I wouldnt mind a $50K friend either, you wanna be my $50K friend John?? :D

I'm a little surprised so many people think this sale is rather low, i always felt the $5K renewal would hurt this domain badly so feel $50K is a nice sale in the current market.
I'm delighted though as it could mean renewed interest in the UK Geo.Tv market after a great last few months when Euro Geo .Tv's really took off.
