.US domains.US domains
England.tv for sale..... but not in HighPricedDomains !

By the way can anyone give me some hints why when I posted this in the HighPricedDomains Forum it was (presumably) denied by the Moderator(s)...

In my book it's a lot better name than 90% of the stuff they have in there !!!!

Regards...

It very well may be because, like everything else in life, there is a slant toward one group and a prejudice toward another, if you know what I mean. Sometimes they will refuse to allow objectivity to stand in the way.

Great, Great name!!! See if you can contact enom about working a deal for you on getting that renewal lowered. I am not saying they will do that but sometimes they are flexable and were with me on Spain.tv and Europe.tv. It's all timing with them.
With that being said, I would contact domain brokers who can market that name to end users because it can sell for $100,000+ if reached the right buyer.

Thanks, Jim

I would guess it is a pricing issue rather than a quality issue (overpriced).

It's definitely overpriced as far as the .tv extension goes. It might reach 10k if you find the right buyer, but it's possible someone might pay more for it, especially since the renewal cost is so expensive.

England.net sold for $29k in Jun/2005
England.mobi sold for $5.5k in Jan/2009

I would contact some England based tv stations.

Did you get admin approval or simply just post?

The renewal is killing your resale value. At 500 you might poss find a non-enduser to pay what your asking, but at 5k I have doubts. You might probably find someone willing to take it over and cover your last prem. Good luck!

Replies to the few previous posts...

Thanks or the positive feedback, thanks also for those who commented on high price and high renewal also. I Will take the renewal price up with SEDO/EnomCentral

BTW When I tried to post in High Price Domains, should I PM asking if I can or do the powers that be OK/NotOK once you (try to) post ?

Regards

I think this is a great name.
I understand many posters saying its to expensive, but I think it is a fair price for real estate of this caliber.
@ $13 a day, I look it as the cheapest rent in England..
You have the keys to potentially the largest address in England.
If I lived in England, I would be making you an offer.

Real Estate is what I would be using it for. With the amount of expats "coming home" from Spain and the like due to the weak pound, and the real estate market being in a slump in general, its a great time to launch. FOR SALE BY OWNER means cutting out the agents, which is an obvious saving to the seller... Timing is right IMO

usa.tv I see is 100k per year before negotiations.. England.tv must be the second best GEO in .tv, so at 5k a great buy IMO.

Im pretty sure it was 10,000 per year a few years ago. Did you negotiate that price down?

Good Luck

Yeah, people in the main sales forum tend to slant toward domains that have potential buyers and a reasonable chance of being sold. Crazy.
