End My GoDaddy Auction or What?

I’m wanting your opinion on whether I should end this auction. Since I have a strong feedback at eBay, should I maybe auction it there instead of Godaddy or just keep it?

I’ve had pretty good luck selling domains to end users over the years but not had any experience auctioning domains. I can’t remember ever bidding on a domain at auction either but I listed a domain at Godaddy Auction on the night of July 28th for a 7 day auction with the minimum bid it allowed which was $20.00. At some point while I was setting up the auction it said at checkout I would be given some important options to choose from on promoting the auction but I was never shown these options and was never taken to a checkout page. I simply set it up by choosing the domain from my portfolio, chose the category, set the minimum bid, type of auction and hit submit.

The domain: 17 year old, 7 letter, brandable product one word category killer type .org with no trademark issues.

My concern: It’s almost a full 3 days into the auction and doesn’t appear to have any bids or views. I dunno if this is normal or maybe bids will eventually begin but I’m wondering if this is a sign that maybe I should end the auction and just keep it until maybe one day/year an end user contacts me wanting it.

Although I haven’t auctioned domains, I have auctioned many other items on eBay in 7 day auctions and typically the bids and offers begin within minutes after starting the auction.

You should keep it does it have reserve?

GoDaddy has far far more exposure than eBay for domains

No reserve.. I've never put a reserve on eBay when I sell items and they've always ended up right at market value so hopefully it'll translate over to this domain in the same manner.

Time Left: 1D 8H.... Wow only 3 bidders! I had no idea this would be so intense for me, I had felt pretty confident it would have more bids and much higher bids than this much earlier in the auction. Looks like it's going to come down to the wire.. Folks seeing it in the last hours or minutes of the auction once it gets on the first page.

I wonder why it shows two $25 and two $50 bids?

Hi Wayne, surprised you could find it but I'm delighted you did, I tried from a couple different mobile devices and couldn't find it but I can see it from my laptop...

Sarik_Sid, I'm pretty sure you're correct... I'm in for the ride now and it's been a real slow, bumpy one thus far.

Oh well, so far a bit disturbing to me yet I'm absorbed into it quite a bit and is fun to see it's journey to a new home. I'm also excited to see the finish regardless of favorable or unfavorable results.

Peace out folks,
