discuss Email auto reply, good or bad ??

Hi all,

Email auto reply can be annoying sometimes, or is it polite to let people such as end users you have contacted know that you will get back to them asap? also signatures. ? I ask because of discussions on the forum about using email such as gmail or as I have just done set up a specific domain name account.

Just wondering what people think on the subject ?

auto replies make do most of the time. and signatures are a good idea. gives legitimacy to the mail
