Hi there,
has anybody received an email such as this. i have never visited the site before (that I can remember) so the only way I can think of that they got my domain is from searching against other extensions of domains on parking sites.
The email went as follows
At first I thought it was just the usual pitch to me but then I thought why not, went along to enom and was able to register the .com version of my name.
This is a new approach to me as I would have thought they would have reg'd it and then tried to pitch it to me but it seems that I have just received a 'good samaritan' email.

Hello, I am contacting you to make you aware that the following Domain Names now appear to be available:
xxxxxxxxxxx.com.
I thought this information would be of interest to you as it appears you previously registered one or more of these Domains in an extention other than .Com.
To register one or more of the above domain names simply click: http://www.NameAuditors.com/index.php?xxxxxxx or just go to our website www.nameauditors.com and type in the unique reference code I set up for you which is xxxxxxx.
If you have any questions feel free to email me at [email protected] or call our office toll free at xxxxxxxxxxxx (within North America) or xxxxxxxxxxx(outside North America).I sincerely recommend you act quickly to avoid any risk of losing registration rights for this domain name to others as domains are registered on a first come basis.
Best Regards - xxxxxxx
