Hey everyone, I missed notifications for this thread somehow. Sorry about that!

I signed up for efty and have started moving the domains there. I am still figuring out many features.
I do have a couple of questions below.

1) For sales landing pages there are about 9 backgrounds which are pretty decent, but are you going to add more in future, especially backgrounds that can match a niche. I think it will help get more leads and possibly sales as well if the backgrounds match the domain niche rather than just a plain building background for all niches

e.g

A car background for car/auto related domains
A housing background for RealEstate/House/Home related domains
A food background for restaurants/food related domains
A tech background for tech/computer/software related domains
A maid related background for Maid service related domains

Etc.

I think it will be great if you can add other backgrounds which are specific nice related.

2) I am still figuring out the integration of all the parking services. e.g Bodis, Parking Crew etc. How does integrating the parking accounts help? Do we add the domains to efty and efty will provide all the stats from all the parking accounts rather than having to login to individual parking accounts? Please correct me if I am understanding it wrong and please do provide explanation.

We are in the process to add a whole bunch of new For-Sale landing pages. There will be a set of BIN only pages, a set of UDRP safe landing pages and last but not least we will add a lander for each category, so one for Real Estate, one for Adult, one for Business etc.

Each integration works slightly different, once set up you van mainly add, delete or edit your domains with that partner from within Efty. If you have specific questions or need help getting set up please email us at [email protected]

does efty charge a commission per successful domain transaction ?

No, we won't (and never will) charge a commission on sales made with the help of the Efty platform.

Few Features I would like to be added

1. Bulk update whois
2. Ability to choose www vs Non www option in landing pages
3. Bulk Update Capitalization if possible

We've been working on a bulk Whois update but this is a pretty big development project so I can't make any promises on that as of yet. Choosing between www vs non-www landers isn't possible. We redirect non-www to www landers to avoid duplicate content issues so your landers have the ability to rank well in search engines.

Bulk change of domain description really needed.

I'm happy to share that we just added bulk editing abilities for domain USPs!

Possibility to sort names by category like:
Characters number, tld, adwords searches, keywords and so on.
Would be very useful for large portfolios and when buyers need something specific.

Choosing between www vs non-www landers isn't possible. We redirect non-www to www landers to avoid duplicate content issues so your landers have the ability to rank well in search engines.

Won't it be good if you can provide option to choose the preferred one and redirect the other to it. Like If I choose Non www version, www version will redirect to it and it will avoid duplicate issues as well.

The problem is addition of www in the address bar makes domain longer and less attractive IMO. We are selling domain here, what's the point of adding www in front? All major parking companies have non www version by default.

What I would like to see is the page where I only have description (i.e. non-negotiable BIN) and contact form - for BINs below low-xxx escrow is too expensive.

I see new BIN templates but they need some kind of contact form - I don't think anyone would buy a domain without contacting the seller first.
I would like the Spring template + description + contact form.
In other words - ability to disable "make an offer" field on selected domains.

The whole idea behind these new landers actually is the fact that there's no contact form. We received many requests for a lander that was purely BIN without any form (contact or make offer) so we created one. You can still list your contact details (such as an email address) in the footer of these landers so that potential buyers can contact you.

Just make the template similar to the Spring theme.
Or better yet - ability to add our own background images.

Yeah and to be honest that's the whole purpose of these because they are especially designed to be UDRP safe and therefore a lot of the "salesy" elements have been removed.

Actually I'm talking about the background image.
Why not add all images from the category themes?

The chrome app plugin link from Efty redirects by default to dutch language.

Got an EFTY request: Some sort of automatic 404 or wildcard redirect to the root of the domain, if the domain is using your nameservers.

I tested efty yesterday, setup their dns on my domains.
Seems fine but:

1) 10-15 seconds to load my domains it tooo much, buyers could go away 10 times, it's a big problem...

2) it's impossible to filter domains. if i want to select a sublist of my domains then edit them all in bulk.

3) my emails appears in clear in the template, i dont want that.

4) when a customer starts a lead everything have to be done by email externally, I prefer as it's done on voodoo with internal emails templates.

1) I've seen Efty being slow some times but usually it loads fast.

2) You go to Domains and you can sort from there, or download the Excel file and filter the results.

what i want is,
Imagine i have 5k domains on my account, i have a sublist of 100 domains, i want to set the price to $xxx for these domains, it would take a lot of time to do that.

David, if you can sort the domains in such a way as to appear in the first 100 results, you select all of them and press "Edit selection".

yes i know that, but sometimes it's not possible. I would be nice to have an export/import function to edit domains.
I wanted to try efty to see if i make more leads with it than voodoo parking, but there are a lot of cons.
