Efty published on X that they completed their first ever domain name transfer using their Efty Pay product and it was really fast. This is looking like a product that many are clamoring for. Congrats to Doron and his team. […]

Nice to see Efty Pay finally from announcement to reality! Congratulations to Doron and everyone else involved.

With the Dan Integrator API, that several third party solutions depended on, shutting down at end of summer, Efty Pay, and Atom's similar service recently announced, are particularly important.

The issues related to Escrow apparently no longer doing payout via a number of services that those in some countries depended on, also will increase the market for this.

I would love to see one of the two new entrants (Efty Pay or Atom Pay) an option with the NamePros landers.

sorry but a monthly plan just doesnt do it for me.. there is a reason why no other domainer site or at least not the popular ones dont do monthly plans. p.s. dan pay system also does whole sale within 1hour. happened to me more than once.

AtomPay might be the better option for that reason, but maybe @Doron Vermaat and @lionel_efty will allow Efty Pay to work without a paid monthly subscription since Efty is taking a commission from the sales.

NamePros hopes to integrate both of them, as long as they’re able to provide value to domainers. 😊

This seems nice especially since they have developed API for it.

It was first mentioned by several parties like Sudos that use it. The termination of the integration API is Sept 5, 2024. Here is comment from official Dan X account from March of this year.

“Today, we’re opening our onboarding process and “Bring Your Sale” for our valued Efty Investor subscribers with an introductory commission percentage of only 3.5%. If you have an active Efty Investor subscription, you can sign up, create your Efty Pay account, and initiate a transaction by importing a negotiated lead today. This will set the stage for a groundbreaking transaction experience and give the first sneak peek of the Efty Pay platform.”

Good to see this first step. I think will need the step of additional payments (beyond bank draft) for there to be a big uptick.

For high value sales where that payment method works, the introductory pricing of 3.5% is attractive, and undercuts the Atom 4.5% (but their system accepts many forms of payment). Always nice to see competition and innovation in the business.

Nice to see the whole roadmap laid out, and I was particularly interested to see that it will eventually include many other currencies.

Ramping up slowly makes sense. Once they get to the API stage for external marketplaces, there will probably be a big uptick in use, depending on pricing and alternatives.

Efty Pay's product page indicates that it will change to 5% after the introductory commission, which is higher than Atom's:

"Let us take care of everything else for a fixed 5% commission while you focus on your domain name investments."

It's great that both companies are introducing this service, and we hope they're both successful. Then we can integrate them into our landers. :)
