I just recieved this e-mail. I have not ordered anything from GoDaddy. Does this look like a scam or a mistake at GoDaddy? Has anyone else recieved an e-mail like this before? The customer Number is not my customer number at GoDaddy.

That looks like a SCAM to me. They spelled Customer wrong right at the beginning!

you better report it to goDaddy. forward them your email, for they will be able to read head information and send report to email abuse department.

I will forward this to GoDaddy. It doesn't ask for a log in but it does have a customer service number to call. thanks!

It looks more like a prank than anything else. Imagine getting a fake credit card bill in the mail for a few hundred thousand, only to find out your mates posted it as a joke. (I know someone that happened to ;))
But these guys a right, better to be safe than sorry. Forward it and panic until they reply.

I have sent an e-mail through the spam abuse form on Godaddy. I did include the headers. Hope this is the correct way to do it.

UPDATE

When I checked the customer service number on this e-mail and at the GoDaddy site, they were the same number. It seemed to me it must have come from GoDaddy, so I gave them a call. I was greeted with a recording that described this exact e-mail as a scam. Panic over! Hope this help someone else who may recieve this e-mail.
