Look at this...
http://cgi.ebay.com/lron-biz-your-o...yZ158892QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
So, This Dirtbag starts the auction at less than $1.00,
because there is a promotion going on...
Any listing starting at 99 cents or less is only a
1 cent listing fee.
But what he really wants is $50.00 for the domain.
So, there is a shipping charge!!!
LMAO!
$50.00!!!
I have never seen a shipping charge on a domain before.
Watch out!!!

But Wait there's more!

Look at the name...
Iron.biz
I like it!
No, look at the one Q&A listed.
Someone was smart enough to ask for the correct spelling!
That was an L
So, it's LRON.biz

Then he covers his A$$ by listing this one sentence...

Ask what ever you need to know before bid, there are no refunds, good look!!!

Don't get scammed by Dirtbags like this!
I was close,
if I would have tuned in w/less than a minute to go!
I hope he's not a NP member.
LOL

Just a head's up,
Take care,
Red Rock!

All his auctions start with an L in the hope some sucker will think they are generic names, he has a number on auction, all look like generics, all start with L

using shipping charge to reduce the listing fee is common, not big deal.

But the typo L is a big warning sign.

I see the shipping like that all the time. I bought a domain once without noticing it. Since then I always look.

Buyers beware!!!

eBay should ban this type of sellers!!!

Well it sounds like some, were aware of this...
I hope this helps someone/anyone out there.

Then it will have been worth posting this thread.

Dirtbags like that, really make the rest of us look bad!

The name did sell with 2 bids for $2.25.

I wonder if a Scientologist bought it? You know, L. Ron (Hubbard), perhaps Tom Cruise or some other Operating Thetan.

Gee, I hope Tom doesn't read this, he might sue me because I'm being so glib.

Best wishes,
Kimmy

Yes a deliberate mistake, he didn't say in the auction the i was an L deliberately, plus $50 delivery fee

__________
Definitely a intensional typo. And, it appears the seller has sold every name so far.

Best wishes,
Kimmy

that why you must read the fine prints now a days.

shipping fee has been a common thing. so pls read it.

- i am just feeling irritated with the L stuff, in that case you can request for a refund via paypal dispute and etc.
1) say you were cheated and not aware of the sellers' fraud intent
2) just state that you didn't not agree to his term of no refund since no signing occur.
3) find him out and *** him on the street (jokes aside)

ha, so be careful i guess. to all, pls exercise prudency in future.

listing with an "l" in a way that it implies that it is an "i"/"I" is very shady practice ... it is clear that the words were specifically chosen so that someone is tricked into thinking it is a good keyword

practically it is also againt eBay rule about Misleading Title

putting $50 for shipping for domains is again cunning

it is also againt eBay rules about Fee Circumvention (click on Some Examples and read the second paragraph)

since eBay fees are calculated on end price and not on shipping or price+shipping , a circumventing-fees-seller is trying to attract more buyers with the lower price and also pay less end fees

I think once they buyers see the invoice for the +$50 they will probably report him for fee circumvention lol ... that is if they knew they were getting lron.biz and not hoping that they were getting iron.biz for $52.25

he also sold ldea.info for $5.50 (found through completed listings) to the same newbie buyer lovejoy57 (10 feedback)

also lovejoy57 seems to be the higher bidder on the remaining 4 auctions of the seller

(hope eBay acts on my reports before the buyer pays lol)

The shipping price sounds ok to avoid Ebay fees but the seller should make it clear in the description. As for the L issue, yes that's dodgy!
