I have just had confirmation that the domain name (DY.com) has been sold for over $900,000 USD ($900k).

The seller 'David Yashar' who owned the name due to it being his initials has sold the name to I presume a Chinese investor.

This shows that the market is once again picking up for these premium names.

Sure, but looking at some other LL.com's sales in the last year I think it's still a really good price for the seller:
