Double check Who Is

Make sure you double check who is to make sure your information is correct.

I just made a sale today from a buyer who checked who is from Godaddy and send me an email to offer to buy. After about 10 emails, we settled on the price and the name sold for $500 - A word of caution - since I don't know the buyer - the transaction tool place with Escrow and not Paypal.

I bought the name from Namepros and paid $25.

This is the second time this month I sold name to a buyer who checked Who Is record.

Last month - a buyer contacted me also from who is record and I sold a name to him for $750 ( I paid $xxx for this name but it's still a nice profit).

I think all my whois info is correct, though you risk looseing your domain name if the whois info is fake :O

Its a good idea to check, I have had problems with several different registrar's bulk update not working or only partially working, although from all appearances the updates had supposedly happened, ended up doing them individually. Congrats on the sales.

All my details are, up-to-date but (and yes I know the fee's :p ) I feel safe with sedo, my middle man and I only put their charges on top of what I want anyway :lol:

I have acquired few domains by sending request to email listed in domain whois. But also there were few domains which I wanted to buy, but owners didn't reply, I guess they had wrong/unused email listed in whois.
