Reseller.
If a company, pizza restaurant bought it, why would they waste their money and leave it like http://pizza.com/ that?

Good question.

I'm going with Papa Johns. They seem to be aggressively expanding and they already do online ordering. It would also complement their stock symbol (PZZA).

Little Caesar's is a definite long shot. Too low budget and a lack of delivery service in most areas. I do like their $5 pizzas though. Under-rated!

Another possible buyer for pizza.com is PMQ.com. They have several online sites for their pizza industry magazine and tradeshows.

I am doubting this sale. Or perhaps, the buyer is paying it in instalments, I cannot comprehend.

you forgot to include in the poll, the possibility of 'nobody' being the buyer imho :bingo:

Hmmmm... that's a good point. Perhaps there should be a "Buyer is fake" option?

just wait for few more days. we will find out who the buyer is :)

If my past record of completed sedo auctions/sales is anything to go by, I doubt the sale will go through :hehe:
He shouldnt have gone to the papers until the money was safely in his bank account!

PZZA,com is being auctioned at namejet right now

If even Pizza.com could summon such large numbers, I would pick a Name.com with that money anyday..

Exactly I was trying to say. The domain still shows

Updated Date: 22-jun-2006
Creation Date: 17-jun-1994
Expiration Date: 16-jun-2012

The updated date should have changed during these days but it hasn't yet. :|

I believe that Sedo has vetted all the bidders this time to make sure they are serious and capable.

Maybe a wealthy collector.

I voted Pizza Hut (only one of the pizza restaurants listed that I knew), but I would guess it was bought by an end user.
