I guess this might be a double post for me, but a post by a trusted member had me wondering so I emailed Dotster saying I wanted to sell one of my infos.

This was the response:

Hello,

Per Affilias (.info registry), no ownership changes may be made to
.info domains which were registered for free until the domains have been
registered for one year. If you have any other questions be sure to let
us know.

Heres the TOA if anyone can find that little ummmmmm catch please point it out.

This is what I understood:

Any domains purchased for free that exceed the 25 per customer will be deleted from our system and any corresponding services (hosting, email, etc.) will not function with that domain name. Registrant information for any account registering free .info domains may not be modified, transferred, or sold until January 1st, 2005.

Their website takes forever to load evenon broadband. I think a lot of that problem is on their end with server load.

dotster really sucks.. I tried to registered 25 free .info domains.. man, terrible, sometimes it says that domain is unavailable actually when the domain is available.
Btw, I am not sure abt the 1 yr rule.
