ETP raising prices...

Ok, I went to register a new domain today and when I went to check, I was being charged 8.95 for my .info. I went to my pricing and saw that my ETP raises some prices on me without notifying me. They raised transfer prices along with just new regisrations of .info. Most of my holdings are .infos and I find it strange to raise that price especially since all other registrars are lowering the .infos.

I wrote them alreay and awaiting a response, so I will not be naming them at this point. But are there any others out there who have had the same problem? You may want to check just in case.

Enom has raised that prices of .INFO to all ETPs since end of last year. But the offer was always for the first year, new regs only, not renewals. I think this applies to everyone else doing their $2 .INFO promo now.

on 29 December, enom sent me an email. it said .info prices would be raised.

It happened to mine aswell. From what I figure my ETP changed the pricing $1 above enoms discount offering. So on the 1st eNom returns the pricing to normal and in turn it changes the account to $1 above what it was before the promotion. I have a feeling this has happened to alot of sub $8.95 resellers who aren't ETPs. So pre-promotion my pricing was $7.10 after the promotion it became $8.10.

I addressed this with eNom and they told me to talk with my reseller because they have nothing to do with their pricing. They didn't seem to understand that the ETP can't change it back to the way it was before the promotion because these are sub $8.95 accounts.

As it is now I'm losing money on my sub accounts on new registrations on retail accounts. I can increase their pricing to $9.33 and make nothing. Not very happy about having to take a loss on them but it looks like it's either that or tick off my sub accounts aswell. Then again mabey eNom will think twice about not wanting to do anything about it.
