John Van den Berg known as Johntv on the domain forums has won .tv domainer of the year as one of the most astute .tv owners in the world. Van den Berg sold Me.tv to Demand Media for an undisclosed amount in 07. He also has picked up several LL.tv domains for less than the going rate by being quick on a drop one day back in August of 07. He holds gems such as See.tv which is one of the most highly trafficked .tv domains. Others include DE,Ma,Fl,TX,VP, Sweden and 111.tv. He is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Marlowe Holt known as DomainAcrobat on the forums has been involved in .tv for 1 year and has probably made more sales in the .tv aftermarket than anyone in 07. He has consistently provided innovative auctions and other wholesale strategies to move the inventory. Congrats Marlowe. check out www.domainacrobat.com

Versus Network paid $6300 for VS.tv in AUG 06 and have left the domain parked on a SEDO parking page. There is no excuse to allow a domain you paid $6300 for to sit parked when it should point to your main site or be developed promoting the network. You guys are better than that, get the site up and running or at least on your own servers to acquire the traffic.


For .tv domainer of the year and rookie of the year an award of $25 will be given to each.

Sorry for the speech LOL, its more of a thanks if you will...

First let me say, everything I know about domaining I learned from this and other forums. This place is an invaluable tool for learning. If it was not for the folks here and mods like Equity, it would not be possible to have been as successful so quickly. :hearts: .TV came along at the right time for me, I had just finished my 1st year of .com hand regs and just experienced my first season of expirations, its a little traumatic and devastating to the pocket book. I started investing in .TV last October, my first .TV registration was Censored.TV, at the time there were so many good keywords that the allure was too strong when compared the the 3 word .coms available to register. I absorbed everything postd by folks like Equity, JohnTV, SKG, Millerscrossing, SearchingTV, Westblock, Argos and a few others that I just can't recall at the moment. The folks here are always honest and almost always make reccomendations if they give you negative feedback, which is a great asset.

RAY, Thanks so much for putting your energy and time into NP. I know how much time I put in, it must pale in comparison to you, for this I must thank you. :great:

Thanks to RJ and all other moderaters/administators for all the hard work that makes this place as a whole the most enjoyable website.

I have to update domainacrobat.com now that its on spotlight! LOL! I have not updated the domains in 5 months! :hehe:
