.tv Me and my business partner sell DE.TV for $21,500

I am really happy about this deal, which closed over the weekend.

It was a directly negotiated sale and want to congratulate my business partner for choosing the name in the first place - ATL.tv and the buyer. John van den Berg.

I will write more about this deal as soon as I can on my blog......but one thing for sure....no NDA's here...this will go to DN JOURNAL asap.

If I am not mistaken, this makes this the biggest aftermarket sale for a name that has been made public in the .tv extension.

A great moment for .tv!!!!

Also an extremely important point, Texas.TV is 50k a year, De.TV is 5k......this is a deal that probably (although I certainly cannot read Johns mind!) factored pretty heavily in Johns decision to pay what he paid for the name......and names of that quality you cannot get close to now for 5k a year.....

What a fantsatic Sale!!!!!!!!!!!

All this does is reconfirm that .TV is on the rise and the players who have doubted .TV are about to be in for a rude awakening.

This is big for everyone invoved in .TV, from standard reggs right up to high premiums, I can hardly wait to see what is going to happen next.

I hope to see more info about this sale written in publications such as DN Journal, it is well deserving of the press and is again a green light for the critics to re evaluate .TV as the real deal in 2007/2008!!!

Think this is a good deal for all three of us and a good deal for the .tv extension. The way for .tv is still up with Demand Media and Richard Rosenblatt just starting to promote .tv and as you mentioned in a PM, in a couple of months there will be a new .tv name on top of the 2007 sales for sure, maybe your and Tim's it.tv
