reg'd at gandi.net, no doubt :Owell someone has ……….. india.guru
A point 'so' overlooked. Limited visions can be so impairing to see 'what else can be?' ..... but some of these new gTLDs are going to take on a life of their own in ways we can't imagine.
reg'd at gandi.net, no doubt :O
I was actually thinking about gurus last night when watching the movie Her. In the film people rely on OS's, virtual people, that help them though the day and in some ways are better than regular people. Can you imagine a world where people start registering a personalized .guru domain to facilitate communication with their OS? Sure that's unlikely, but some of these new gTLDs are going to take on a life of their own in ways we can't imagine.
@sdsinc, I think your view on new gTLDs is delusional, probably the aftereffect of too many marijuana domains floating around.
Anyway, let's rest this debate here itself and let others showcase their .GURU domains here. :music:

Here are three other domains of mine:
Host .guru
Holidays .guru
Resorts .guru
You really hit the nail on the head with that post.you're gonna start hearing everyone claim "they are going to develop them" like with .mobi
with .mobi, i KNEW at the time like 95% of the people saying this were full of crap... they always worded it like, "im not selling but if a good enough offer came along........."
LOL
meanwhile, they would have hundreds or even 1,000+ .mobi saying "eventually im going to develop most of them"
yeah right. what sort of meaningful development can you do with that many domains..
You really hit the nail on the head with that post.
Also, IMO for "domainers" to buy into these TLDs and then 1 or 2 days later attempting to flip them on auction for thousands of dollars is just embarrassing.
:bah: :td: :bah:
interesting to see spiritual.guru on dnjournal at $2.107

i did read today that 3dprinting.guru may be the first gtld resale ?? ….dont know how much for though
Just read: Guru Passes 20,000 Registrations: Now Has More Than .Travel & .Aero
http://www.thedomains.com/2014/02/08/guru-passes-20000-registrations-now-has-more-than-travel-aero/
But I have a question: did somebody keep GoDaddy's pre-registration price list for .guru (phrase 1, 2, 3…)? I did not print it and it can no longer be found on GoDaddy's site. I am not sure if they applied the same rate for all new gTLDs.
The reason for my question: I have noticed that somebody (apparently a domainer) registered a quite impressive number of .guru domain names in a very specific niche through GoDaddy on 2nd February (Landrush for .guru started on 5th February), and - for documentary purposes, since I am interested in that niche, though not very much in the extension itself - I would like to know how much he had to pay for those domain names on that day.
If anybody has kept the list, thank you for sharing it.
donuts.co are using the same pricing tiers the whole time.. starts at 12,000somthing at godiddly the first day of early access.. then 6,000something, then 3,000 something then 1,000some, then $600some and finally $190 the last 2-3 days.
sounds like the ones you're talking about were either $1,000 or $600something... heres the rollout of the donuts TLD tho might help you figure it out:
