I find it funny all of the people registering names in the .Guru extension. Who wants to make a site and say you're the Guru of something? I'm the medical Guru, I'm the garbage Guru, I'm the cat litter Guru, Yikes!!

I can't seeing many business using this extension. If you do, you better hope you are the Guru otherwise people won't be coming back to your site. So, good luck to any random domainer trying to put up a quick site on one of these.

I don't know how deep your pockets are, but I'd just advise not letting your investment get out of hand.

Personally, more and more I'm doubting that even some of the best keywords will get much end-user interest with these new TLDs. There are just too many of them, and untold numbers more to come.

Sometimes you have to break your pocket to learn new opportunities.
I personally registered some for marketing purposes, it's cheaper than adwords. If someone buy it, it's a plus.

From a quirky marketing perspective, I believe .Guru is a good extension for certain fields. But for something serious like a doctors office, lawyer etc. You just can't take it seriously. All the good .gurus were taken so I bought a couple of one word and 2 word .center names which could be taken seriously.
