Do not use this company. I think scam company. Those who have domains here, please be careful. I transferred out following my 2 domains before expired dates.

bmmmb.com
hg9297.com

They are charging me for a service I did not purchase. Because I transferred my domains to another company before they renew them. They want from me to pay $26 per domain for domains that they don't renew. According to the rules, we need to transfer the domain 1 month before the expired day. Normally we can transfer out domains last expired date. They are not inside the icann rules. I think domain registrar authorizations should be reviewed by ICANN. If they don't resolve my problem I will report them to Icann...They victimize domain owners.

Isn't what they did against the rules of ICANN? I can transfer my domain abroad until the last day. How can this company charge me for a domain that they haven't renewed? And they are icann acredited registrar. What is the purpose of establishing icann?
I doubt they will do anything. Which sub category would you select?

I think some guys said that they transferred away without any issues. I have also transferred domains to them, but I haven 't tried to transfer away yet.
I advise you to get away from here as soon as possible.

You were able to transfer-out, so that's ICANN compliant. The rest is contractual between you and One.com.

You can argue with One.com that you never ordered such a plan, or that their billing is incorrect, etc. However, that would be not something ICANN will resolve for you. Imo.

This scam is done via domain, though? Do you remember Registerfly issue?

Good question.

They did allow the transfer, so this is probably more a contractual thing.

It might be well within ICANN policy, though if that is the case this time it is $26.

What is to stop a registrar from charging a million dollars?

It's best to just avoid these type of predatory registrars in the first place.

It was not something I did not know. I could not transfer the domain before. After that issue, they wrote in the explanations that the who is privacy service should be closed. Everyone took advantage of this situation after my title. The situation there was not a very correct situation for registrar. forcing users into this situation.

Hello. @varyemez Were you able to resolve the problem? I'm speaking to customer service and they tell me that they can cancel the service, although they ask me why. I'm waiting for a response, they're taking a while.

They don't want to resolve problem. I opened support ticket and talked 2 times with chat support. They says "You must comply with our rules" So I think it might be a scam. They cannot charge me for a service that I did not purchase or use.

And if we refuse to pay? or close the account? Aren't they going to put us in jail for something we didn't buy? Besides, we can report them ourselves.

They will throw you in the One.com vendor lock-in.

If you transferred your domains to a different company without them renewing their term (before they renew them), I don't think they can do anything. If it were that easy, another company would also rip people off by adding a rule to the contract that says if you don't renew within 6 months, they will charge you a fee. If ICANN will not intervene in this matter, in which matter will it intervene?

I had a similar issue with 1and1 many years ago.

I transferred a domain the year before, then got sent to the collectors for a bill under $30 that I was never even notified about.

It was some bogus fee when the domain wasn't even there. It ended up being a huge issue getting the nonsense removed from my credit report.

What can they do to us? They may take the process to court and in that case the fraud they committed will be revealed.

From now on, I will never use this company again and I will warn everyone about the situation.
