Do not use this company. I think scam company. Those who have domains here, please be careful. I transferred out following my 2 domains before expired dates.

bmmmb.com
hg9297.com

They are charging me for a service I did not purchase. Because I transferred my domains to another company before they renew them. They want from me to pay $26 per domain for domains that they don't renew. According to the rules, we need to transfer the domain 1 month before the expired day. Normally we can transfer out domains last expired date. They are not inside the icann rules. I think domain registrar authorizations should be reviewed by ICANN. If they don't resolve my problem I will report them to Icann...They victimize domain owners.

If you transferred your domains to a different company without them renewing their term (before they renew them), I don't think they can do anything. ?

But that's what everyone would do anyway. You must be a complete idiot to pay $25 for a renewal.

I don't really understand what's the problem. Your story is confusing and doesn't make sense. You said you transferred away, then you are complaining that they asked you to pay.
They asked you to pay after you transferred away?? Who cares if you have already transferred away.

Okay, but these are not domain related complaints. I was charged for the domain transfers only
and the guys from the live chat offered me great customer service both times that I needed their assistance.
What are the complaints about? We transferred the domain to a different company. What do you think the fact that they are asking for a renewal fee for a domain they don't have has to do with it? This is called fraud all over the world. You cannot get away with fraud by adding a contract clause. The situation is much worse if it is fraud by contract

Today, their support team sent an email saying they can delete the invoices. Let's see if they will actually do it. I'll keep you posted.

I finally got in touch with a sensible employee at the company. If a similar situation happens to you, don't forget to show the situation I experienced as an example. If you don't plan on extending the duration of your domains there, definitely contact support. I don't think there is another way. My problem resolved.

They want for a .online domain renewal 65$ - the support is the absolute worst - there are girls talking to you that have no idea or knowledge of anything, everthing will be forwarded you have to wait at least 2 days for a reply.

Their Price increases every year, goes from 12$ for a whole year with free hosting and then the next year they 150$ yearly with the lowest hosting package - which is a shared hosting and you have 5000 other websites on the same ip. Avoid ONE.com at any cost.

one.com is BEYOND terrible if you are transferring domains in. They do not transfer your current nameservers in - they RESET your nameservers to one.com.

"Good day,

Thank you for your response. Please note that all domains purchased with or transferred to us are placed on our name servers by default. It is unfortunately not possible to transfer existing settings such as name server setup and other settings when the domain is transferred. We sincerely apologize for this.

If you wish to set up new name servers, you can do so on the settings page you have shown in the screenshot by selecting 'Change to custom name servers' and setting up your name servers.

Please note that it may take some time before this can take effect if the transfer of your domains is not yet complete."

All other registrars transfer in the existing nameservers without issue so they are intentionally not doing it.

Then, to add insult to injury, the require you to change the nameservers to custom and they will send you a verification link to the domain you can no longer access because they defaulted your nameservers to one.com:

"Your nameservers change request is being processed. If your domain's registered email address differs from your contact email address, you need to approve the request via email. The request will expire in 3 days if not confirmed."

So because you now can't get the email link to approve the request, after complaining to chat support, you have to manually complete/sign a form, send in your driver's license/passport picture, and an invoice from your previous domain registrar proving you own the domain:

"Julleerizz says: The approval can only be sent to the current domain email address

Me says: I can't get the current domain email address because one.com changed my nameservers.

Julleerizz says: If you do not have access to it, then this needs to be changed manually on our end. You will need to send the signed request to [email protected] for processing

(https removed because I can't submit posts with links) one-docs.com/forms/change-contact-details-form.pdf

Julleerizz says: Note that once you transfer a domain to use, everything will be pointed by default to One.com

Me says: And that's a HUGE problem

Julleerizz says: Any name server or DNS setup will not be included in the transfer

Julleerizz says: This is why it needs to be setup manually

Julleerizz says: Unfortunately, that's not how our system works. The services will be pointed to One.com by default once you transfer to us

Julleerizz says: Please make sure you send the signed form to [email protected] for processing

Julleerizz says: Also, include any proof of owernship from your previous registrar

Me says: Had I known that in advance, I'd have never signed up for your service. This is unfortunate but I will send the form now.

Julleerizz says: An invoice will do as long as the owner detials are visible there

Julleerizz says: I understand. Please send the form as soon as you can"

I've now sent in their form and all the required supporting documents. This is as far as I've gotten so I can't tell you what happens next.

In summary, when you transfer your domains to one.com, your websites/email will likely be down for many days while you wait for them to manually approve their absolutely stupid forms. Without a doubt, they are intentionally making this process convoluted (likely so you will host with them).

I'm transferring away from them as soon as I can outside the 60-day lock period. They are awful.

They can't ask us to pay for something we didn't buy. I m user of ionos nearly 5-6 years. I don't have any problem with them. One.com is not same. You can't remove renewals on One.com Cp.
I had to call Ionos to cancel renewal like it's 1988.

I have transferred my domain .io for only 9$, that was so great but the problem came after that. It takes a week before the the domain shows in my dashboard, I contacted support live chat, it was waiting for about 20 minutes before someone talked to me. Now l, I wanted to change the nameservers to atom's and because the domain had the privacy protection in the old registry (sav) my name is not in the contact information of the domain ๐Ÿ˜… I'm not even able to change the contact information, they ask me now for an evidence that the domain is mine (a really joke these guys). That being said, after two weeks I have spent 2 hours total talking with support and until now the issue is still there. Thanks God I have transferred just a domain name.
