Domainsite - How to change DNS?

This is a bit ridiculous. I usually use godaddy and their DNS system is very easy to use, but i cant get it to work at domainsite.

How do i change the DNS there?

When i try i get this error:
ERROR:
The name server *** is not a valid name server registered with the registry. To Register your own name servers click here.
I click there and "register" the name server but i still get this error again.

What do i have to do?

Log in > click show bulk management text link > select all the names you want to change > click modify only selected names button (centre page) > click edit nameservers > put in Nameservers 1 & 2 > then click submit

you may have to wait a day or so until they are updated but usually they change pretty quick.

If you have already tried this way then you will probably need to contact them.

Not quite sure what your problem is. If you are trying to swap nameservers the process is normally very easy and they swap over very quickly. Most IDNers use Domainsite because its interface is very straight forward.

If you want to use your own nameserver then you have to register them first. The interface allows you to do this.

I have to say, however, Domainsite support of late is very poor compared with what it used to be.

I found out the problem, I got a response from them within 24 hours and was happy with that (though i havent had a chance to go check if it works yet)

They said because my name server is a .com and my domain is .info, it doesn't automatically work unless they manually allow that name server for me... strange but hopefully that will fix the issue.

DomainSite in my expierence is anything but a smooth process. I have always had problems with them and timliness was always an issue.

Additionally, in my expierence support was very poor and unprofessional so I have stoppped using them.

Domainsite is my favourite. Their support really gets back to me, never had a problem with them.
